I am a Filmmaker, photographer, and a digital artist with a passion for visual storytelling. My work explores moments, emotions, and environments through video, photography, and digital art. Inspired by the ocean, music, and everyday experiences, I use creative media to capture stories and create meaningful visual experiences.
This portfolio showcases a selection of my films, photography, and digital artwork as i continue to develop my skills and pursue a career in filmmaking.
EVENTS
My event videography work focuses on capturing the atmosphere, energy, and story of live experiences. I have produced event recap videos for resorts and venues across Maldives, including Crossroads Maldives and Adraan Vadoo.
I specialize in nightlife and entertainment content, documenting DJ performances, live events, and social gatherings through dynamic visuals cinematic editing. My goal is to create engaging content that allows audiences to relive the experience while helpings brands and venues showcase their events.
ADVERTISEMENTS FOR RESTAURANTS
A promotional advertisement created for a local restaurant, designed to showcase the dining experience, food presentation, and atmosphere of the venue. This project involved videography, editing, color grading, and storytelling to create engaging content for social media and digital marketing platforms.
PHOTOGRAPHY
Photography has been a key part of my creative journey and development as a visual storyteller. My work includes event, portrait, and documentary- style photography, with a focus on capturing authentic moments and meaningful experiences. I have had the opportunity to work as a personal photographer for former President Maumoon Abdul Gayoom, an experience that strengthened my ability to document important events with professionalism and attention to detail. Through photography, I aim to create compelling images that tell stories and preserve moments in time.
DIGITAL ART
My digital artwork explores the beauty, mystery, and power of the ocean. Through color, light, and composition, I create pieces inspired by marine life, underwater landscapes, and the connection between nature and imagination. Each artwork reflects my fascination with the sea and its endless possibilities for storytelling and visual expression.
Meet Nova
Nova is a central character featured throughout my digital artwork. She is a curious explorer who journeys through a mythical world filled with wonder, mystery, and discovery. Wherever she travels, she carries a piece of the ocean with her, symbolizing her connection to nature, imagination, and home.
Through Nova’s adventures, I explore themes of exploration, resilience, and the natural world. Each artwork represents a different chapter in her journey as she encounters new environments, creatures, and stories inspired by the beauty and mystery of the sea.
Nova serves as both a guide and a reflection of my own creativity, allowing me to tell visual stories that blend fantasy, adventure, and ocean- inspired themes.
